Pathways Program

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery promotes hope, health, and wellness through participation in supportive communities. Our Joint Commission-accredited clinical services and CARF-accredited Brain Injury services utilize evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches to facilitate recovery services for individuals and their families. Community integration plays a key role in our supported apartment program, located in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

The Pathways program at New Vitae Wellness & Recovery offers semi-independent and independent customized residential supports for adults with behavioral health, substance use, and brain injury challenges.  A major goal of the Pathways program is to help individuals develop the self-care skills needed to be successful through a pattern of modeling and positive reinforcement.  Cooking, cleaning, medication administration and problem solving are all routinely addressed.  Social skill building, through routine community connection, is emphasized as a main recovery support.  With the support of our community-based Recovery Center, Pathways offers the benefits of licensed clinical supports combined with social connections to create an atmosphere that is well-suited for achieving lasting wellness and recovery.

New Vitae emphasizes personal empowerment within each person’s journey to holistic health.   The individual’s voice is central throughout the recovery process and guides the course of services.  The individual utilizes various family and clinical supports to create a plan of care that best fits his/her needs.  New Vitae is able to incorporate a variety of wellness supports, including yoga, deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation, tutoring, prevocational assistance, and even nutritional counseling to best meet the needs and preferences of the individual.  We are connected to the community to ensure regular activity, use of local resources, and peer to peer support.
