Olivos is a private care management program providing mental health and wellness services in the SF Bay Area. We are a division of Caminar for Mental Health, an agency with over 50 years of experience providing community-based services for individuals with mental, physical and developmental disabilities.

People and families experiencing mental illness often find the current market of services a poorly coordinated and confusing maze. Olivos is a welcoming, well organized program that closes the treatment gap. Focusing on individual empowerment and collaborative goal setting and utilizing evidence based practices, we work with adolescents, adults and older adults in various stages of recovery – from those with highly acute serious mental illness, to those dealing with the life-long effects of trauma, to those seeking to improve their mental health and wellness. Our philosophy is that recovery, wellness and self-sufficiency are possible.

We provide mental health services to people in their homes and communities. Following the state of the art ACT model (Assertive Community Treatment), endorsed by the National Institute of Mental Health and the National Alliance on Mental Illness, our services are tailored to accommodate each client’s needs. Our team-based psychiatric and psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery model includes supporting meaningful community opportunities such as successful employment, school, volunteering, and social activities as well as increasing coping and life skills.

Caminar programs, including the Olivos program, are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), assuring that our services are measurable, accountable and in accordance with standards for quality and excellence.

Olivos Care Management Services include:

  • Individualized care plan
  • Psychiatric assessment, treatment and medication management

As a division of Caminar for Mental Health, an agency with over 50 years of experience providing community-based support services for transition age youths and adults with mental, physical and developmental disabilities, Olivos is uniquely suited to serve individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area.
